Rally in New York for nuclear abolition – May 2nd
A large coalition of international organizations are preparing a mass demonstration and civil society peace conference in New York City the day before the opening of the five-yearly review of the Non-Proliferation Treaty.

ICAN working toward NPT in New York
ICAN has joined with several other international partners working on the ground in New York in the lead up to the Nuclear non-Proliferation treaty (NPT) Review Conference in May 2010. ICAN’s Tim Wright will coordinate civil society groups advocating for a NPT.
Mayors for Peace
ICAN is working in partnership with ACF to assist in building capacity for the Mayors for Peace Network in Australia. There are currently 3,562 member cities in 134 countries & regions around the world – if your council is not a member please see the Mayors for Peace website and encourage them to get on board.

IPPNW European Student Conference in Oslo
The Norwegian student affiliate of the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War is hosting the 20th IPPNW European Student Conference in Oslo on the 8th to the 11th April 2010. The conference program includes lectures, workshops, panel discussions and social happenings. It promises to be this year's most happening student scene in Europe for issues on nuclear weapons!

The best videos will be shown at the United Nations this May as part of the Non-Proliferation Treaty Review conference. The selected videos will then be posted on youtube for the world to see.
