International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons

ICAN Australia shared dinner and conversations with a group of budding new ICAN activists, Hawkesdale students in Victoria's Western District.

These students have been amazingly active after learning about the nuclear weapons issue early this year. They have written to Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and to their local Mayor urging them to join Mayors for Peace, posted an ICAN quiz and power point presentations on-line, and are planning an inter-school event later in the year.
